What are the water temperatures like in Thailand and Myanmar?
The water temperatures range from 27° to 30° Celsius throughout the year.
What suit thickness is appropriate?
3 mm shorties should be sufficient, but for divers who feel the cold easily, we recommend long 3–5 mm suits.
When is the best time to go on a diving vacation in the Andaman Sea?
The season always runs from mid-October to mid-May, with the best time to visit being February, March, and April.
Do you use DIN or INT connectors?
Our 12-liter aluminum tanks have INT valves; adapters can be borrowed from MV Bavaria if necessary.
Is there vegetarian food on the MV Bavaria?
Yes, but please be sure to specify this when booking, as well as any allergies.
What is the diving ratio on the MV Bavaria?
In principle, the ratio is 4:1, but under certain conditions up to a maximum of 6:1.
You can book a private dive guide for 80 EUR/day.
Can you help me book accommodation?

How much does Nitrox cost on the MV Bavaria?
200 THB per tank, but we also offer so-called Nitrox flat rates (all dives with Nitrox) per tour.
Are the MV Bavaria tours also suitable for snorkelers?
The tours to the Similan Islands are definitely suitable for snorkelers.
Does Loma Diving Adventure also accept credit card payments?
Yes, at our diving school you can pay for everything except the national park fees for Thailand and the visa and royalty fees for Myanmar with Visa/Mastercard.
Is rental equipment included in the prices?
No, only for courses.
What criteria are used to put together the diving groups for the trips?
Experience level and air consumption are the two main criteria used to carefully assemble the diving groups.
How many dives do you do per day?
Usually 3 during the day and one night dive.
What is the maximum diving depth permitted at your facility?
Maximum 30 m, in accordance with legal regulations.
How long do your dives last?
Our dives are always planned for one hour.
What emergency equipment does the MV Bavaria have on board?
First aid kit, oxygen.
How is the power supply on board?
The power supply on board is 220 volts, standard Euro plugs.
